For the Beginner. Learn the basic patterns for a smooth dance of style and elegance. Learn how to lead/follow with good frame and connection. Learn rhythm count, learn how to travel around the dance floor allowing you and your partner to feel the harmony of dance movement called FOX TROT.... Focus is on lead and follow skills, proper technique, and patterns that will travel around the dance floor with confidence, grace and poise.
From a practical standpoint of choosing which dance to learn first, Fox Trot should be number one. Most music is based on 4/4 timing and Fox Trot is a beautiful dance that fits right into the category of "slow dances" that should be on everyone's dance card. If you are a beginner, this is the dance we recommend you learn first.
