Waltz 2 is a continuing class for the basic technique of this beautiful slow dance. Learn about frame and connection, the mysterious formula for lead and follow skills....
For the Intermediate Dancer. Prerequisite: Waltz level 1 or equivalent. Focus on lead and follow skills, to make you and your partner look better and feel better on the dance floor. Remember, its not how much you do on the dance floor, its how you do what you do together on the dance floor that makes you a Good Dancer!
Emphasis is on technique for this traditional smooth ballroom dance. Focus is on lead and follow skills, and patterns that will travel around the dance floor. Develop confidence dancing with a partner so you look good and feel comfortable on the dance floor.
Waltz 2 is a continuing class for the basic technique of this beautiful slow dance. Learn how to move confidently with control, grace and poise. Learn correct technique for "rise and fall", the characteristic styling of Waltz. Learn how to implement "sway", the technique that makes you look and feel like you're floating smoothly across the floor. And, most important of all, learn about frame and connection, the mysterious formula for lead and follow skills.
