Tani Moes, our dear beloved friend has passed away. Tani will always be remembered for her joy, her laughter, and her passion for dance......we will miss her greatly.
Her family has asked us to tell all of our students and dancers who knew her that Remembrances may be sent to the Scleroderma Foundation or Education Together.
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at St. Helen Catholic Church in Junction City for Tani T. Moes of Junction City, who died Jan. 19,2007, at the age of 49.
She was born Aug. 29, 1957, in Hokkaido, Japan, to C.H. and Kimie Takanashi Kirby. She married Dean Moes on June 13, 1981, in Monroe. He died Aug. 7, 2002. She worked as a purchasing agent for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Survivors include two sons, Richard "Ricky" of Albany and Christopher of Eugene; and a sister, Grace McMinn of Houston.
